A-Tlegay Fisheries Society

Protecting, Enhancing, and Sustaining Marine Resources

A-Tlegay Fisheries Society works on behalf of the member Nations to steward, protect, and enhance the marine resources within their traditional territories. A-Tlegay supports the exercise of Indigenous fishing rights and delivers programs focused on sustainable fisheries management, habitat stewardship and community connections. Guided by traditional knowledge and supported by scientific research, the Society promotes responsible resource use while strengthening cultural traditions, food security, and long-term economic opportunities for its member Nations.
